Pacific Sunrise Itinerary Review
Like all Whitsunday Island sailing trips there is no set itinerary for Pacific Sunrise. Due to large differences in high and low tide our skipper will choose the best destinations available in accordance to the wind and tide on each day. Below is a sample guide for a probable itinerary.
Pacific Sunrise offers a choice of 3 day 3 night or 6 day 6 night cruises and will carry guests on a journey amongst the Whitsunday Island region of the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. At these fantastic locations our crew will assist guests to snorkel over coral reefs, view the coral and marine life from the glass bottom boat, explore tropical islands, beautiful sandy beaches and island rainforests.
You will enjoy stunningly romantic island sunset while dining on gourmet meals and staying in boutique accommodation. All in uncrowded conditions.
The Journey departing Sunday & returning Wednesday:

Day 1 Sunday:
Depart Able Point Marina @ 4.00pm
First night anchorage in northern island snorkel destination
e.g. Blue Pearl Bay, Langford Reef or Stone Haven
Day 2 Monday:
Depart early morning for cruise to actual Great Barrier Reef where guests can snorkel & get involved with glass bottom boat activities. Depart late afternoon to sail back to Whitsunday Island to the northern end of Whitehaven Beach. Overnight anchorage at Tongue Bay.
Day 3 Tuesday:
Morning walk to Hill Inlet lookout and spend the morning relaxing on Whitehaven Beach. Sail to inner islands for an island bushwalk.
Day 4 Wednesday:
Morning sail to Able Point Marina arrive 11.00am
The Journey Departing Wednesday & returning Saturday
Day 1 Wednesday:
Depart Able Point Marina 4.00pm. Sail to inner island anchorage. View island sunset.
Day 2 Thursday:
Morning departure for a snorkel destination where guest can snorkel and in the afternoon sail to south Whitehaven overnight anchorage. Whitehaven.
Day 3 Friday:
Depart Whitehaven Beach for outer island snorkel destination. Sail to inner island location for an island bush walk.
Day 4 Saturday:
Morning sail to Able Point Marina arrive 11.00am
